If you rent our villa you will be close to many wonderful towns in Tuscany including Siena, San Gimignano and Florence.

The nearest town is the delightful Castellina-in-Chianti which is approximately a 10 minute drive away. This is a small town with a handful of nice restaurants, some lovely shops and marvellous Tuscan architecture.

Siena is just 15 minutes away by car. This is one of the great cities of Italy and its central square, the Piazza del Campo, is often described as the most beautiful in the world. We think it is difficult to argue with this opinion! Home to the world famous Palio horse race, Siena is teeming with history combined with excellent dining and shopping.

The small walled medieval hill town of San Gimignano is approximately 35 minutes away. The town is famous for its medieval architecture, especially its towers, which can be seen from several miles away. It is also known for the white wine, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, produced in the area.

Florence is only 1 hour away by car (although there is an efficient train service from the station just 5 minutes from the villa). Florence (or Firenze) is the capital city of Tuscany and is a major tourist destination for good reasons. Often considered the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance, Florence is famous for its magnificent art and architecture.
